There are many ways to celebrate a different wedding in Valencia. When we met Patri and Carlos we quickly realized how special and what a wonderful couple they are. In order to know more about our couples stories we like to ask them how they met each other and theirs is quite peculiar and common at the same time these days: through an online chat.
She is a professional make up artist and has that kind of beauty like when you stare at a painting and can’t stop looking at it. He is a radio host and has this amazing voice that you can’t stop listening: paused, properly modulated and warm.
They knew what their wedding would look like. Or, to be honest, they knew what they didn’t wanted: protocols, traditions and anything that didn’t suit them. An example of this is the fact that they woke up together and decided to get ready for their day right next to each other, having each others help and being able to be sure that everything was following their desires. “It doesn’t make sense to not share our day from the beginning to end” Carlos said. That way to understand their wedding and their life is, for sure, what made them enjoy their special day with the calmness they shown, with no nervous, nor expectations or pressure whatsoever. You can see that attitude in the pictures while getting ready. A sable laser joined them to be sure the force may be with them.
They wanted a day to celebrate, and indeed they did. Family and friends filled the ceremony with anecdotes, emotions, pictures and music. Being Carlos a radio host, and a colleague of him the officiant, it was really hard to keep taking pictures without having the need to stop and listen to her voice. It totally blew everyone’s mind and asking for more.
Later that day, as someone might expect, they did their first dance as husband and wife… but, as you could also expect, in a different way. They started dancing a vals and then stopped to dance like Mia Wallace and Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction, which they rehearsed for many weeks before.
Star Wars also had its moment when entering the banquet crossing a passageway of friends holding sable lasers in the air. So funny!
That’s how Patri and Carlos’ wedding was. Fun, between friends and different. Scroll down to see we are not lying. This is how a different wedding in Valencia is done :D
