Wedding at Casa Marina Suites (Benissa)

One of the most happy days in a couple’s life takes months to prepare. Everything resulting in a one unique day makes the pressure go high, when it’s supposed to be the other way: a wedding must be a moment of joy and connection between the couple and their friends and family. But above all it’s supposed to be a moment to have an amazing time. That was Zoe and Luke’s case in their wedding at Casa Marina Suites.

It all started a few days before the highlighted day. They are both from England -in fact they are halfway between the Arctic Monkeys city (Sheffield), which is one of our favorite groups ever, and the Peaky Blinders city (Birmingham), the TV show we love- as much as their relatives, so they came to Spain a week earlier to enjoy the sun, the beach, pool and the amazing Mediterranean vibe that we have in Spain.
Such a long trip, and involving so many people, can’t just be a one single day celebration, so they took the most out of their days and made it a whole week celebration and we covered their party the day before the wedding and, of course, the wedding day!
Luke spent his day before the highlighted date in Javea’s beach hanging out with his best man, friends and father’s (which includes his in law’s). They played many sports and chilled in the Arenal beach.
On the other hand Zoe wanted to be with her bridesmaids in their wedding venue pool.

Even though they were only 40 guests and many of them already knew each other both ideas (beach and pool) were a great idea to get everyone to bond so the wedding day gets even better, since the ice has already been broken and everyone is already getting along

The very next day everything went smoothly. The best man ripped his pants in the very best spot that it could be -yeah, you know what we mean! It just happened haha-, the tears and emotion from the groom were there the whole day and how stunning was Zoe in her dress.
We couldn’t forget the importance of a rugby game while the boys were getting ready and the bridesmaid robes with their names on. Luke pointing to his best man hole -the ripped pant hole, you naughty people!- also made our day, not forgetting Zoe’s father and Luke’s mother “perreando” (dancing like the reggaeton dancers do) after the newly weds first dance, the music, the pool, the beach, the calm, the palm trees, the mountain, the extremely beautiful Costa Blanca sunset, Benissa and England in the same spot and… the love. The love above all. Lovely loved, relaxed love, British in Spanish love. Mediterranean love. The perfect cocktail for a wedding at Casa Marina Suites in Benissa which we loved.

PS: Is it us or Luke looks like Leonardo DiCaprio?
