Do you remember the pre-wedding in Valencia’s Fallas? Their special day has come! Rafa and Susy decided to do their wedding at Hotel Las Arenas, in the Malvarrosa’s beach, with amazing views to the Mediterranean sea. In fact, Susy wanted to get ready for the day at the same hotel suite, where you could see the lovely Mediterranean.
The wedding ceremony took place at the Santa Catalina’s church. Even though we are not churches biggest fans it’s an amazing place. Then we all went back to the hotel, and here is where all the joy was spread -even though outside the church you could sense something-: they started with a helium balloon passageway where Rafa and Susy went by, but also the cocktail took place in the same garden. Then we took the most of the great sunny day and walked around the beautiful hotel taking some pictures of them both.
During dinner everything happened, but the real theme was music and dancing. The bride is from Venezuela, as much as her family and many guests, and in case someone didn’t know, in Venezuela (and many other south-American countries) dancing is part of their life since they’re almost newborns. Knowing this you might imagine the energy and vibes that surrounded the environment that Las Arenas hotel hall. But also from the groom! Valencia has the same vitality and it’s willing to dance as much as anyone else!
Every 5 minutes a song was playing and the table with the song’s table-tag in it had to dance along. Until, as much as you could expect, everyone broke loose. The bride girlfriends started to yell a Spanish chant which says something like ‘The bride, the bride, the bride is totally awesome, like the bride there’s no one!’ and the grooms friend couldn’t hold it and instantly replicate saying the same but this time about him (Rafa). They started with kerchiefs and ended up with chairs up in the air. Amazing!
Anyways, why keep writing when you can see the pictures (that’s why we are wedding photographers!)
That’s how the wedding at Hotel Las arenas was like…
