Even though Laura and Paul are from Ireland, that’s not where they met. It was actually in Sidney (Australia), thanks to a friend in common. After some years living there they moved to Toronto (Canada) where they are now living with their dog Dennis. If this is about a journey, let’s talk about the journey of their wedding in Denia! We don’t really want to brag, but we know (and you know) that the small Mediterranean towns across the Costa Blanca are too much. And clearly Laura and Paul knew that too 😎
Their wedding took place in Casa Santonja. And yes, our dear friends: if it rings a bell it’s because you saw Olivia and Maxim’s wedding, our lovely French-Canadian couple who are also living in Canada and who also got married in that same venue. What can we say? Our couples have the greatest taste. Of course it’s always an absolute pleasure to go back there as many times as needed. We can’t get enough of Casa Santonja. You all know how much we love the Costa Blanca with the sea almost in front of you all the time, the sea breeze and the constant sensation to be summer, no matter which month we are in.
And the proof is this very gallery: although Laura and Paul’s wedding in Denia took place in October you can see what an amazing day we had. The sun rays hit our skins without burning (which does happen from July to September), the temperature was somewhere around 25º which is perfect, and the daylight still lasted till 9pm or so giving the perfect warmth to a perfect wedding.
We are deviating from the point. Let’s go back on Paul and Laura’s track: Paul and his best men got ready at ‘La posada del Mar’ in Denia. And what a lads! How many people and how many crazy things happened in such a small room in a very short period of time. You can see it yourself in the images 😂.
On the other side, Laura and her brides maids got ready at Casa Santonja. Everything happened in the open air, of course, so we can take the most out of the perfect weather that Costa Blanca has. Their guests gathered to enjoy their wedding in Denia from different countries, such as Ireland, Australia or Canada.
And now let’s talk about the elephant in the room: what do you think about the slap in his butt that Paul took?
